Description
SPEE3DCraft is a FREE expeditionary metal 3D printing simulator which allows individuals to discover industry leading metal manufacturing technology in a more accessible way. Through SPEE3DCraft, SPEE3D brings their metal 3D printing process to your computer screen.
Enter the virtual 3D printing landscape and experience diverse environments where you will need to quickly design and print quality metal parts. Use SPEE3D’s printing technology to simplify the manufacturing process and create as many parts as possible across numerous levels. You are the craftsman - pick the material, craft the part, deliver on time - and score!
This virtual simulator is a multi-environment, training-based platform. It is designed to provide individuals the opportunity to gain an authentic insight into existing metal 3D printing and manufacturing processes. In this simulator, engage with the same tools and equipment used in real-world manufacturing to design, print, post-process and supply metal parts within the time allowed. This gamified insight into SPEE3D’s metal 3D printing process is a project that was developed by experienced metal 3D printing professionals. Several of the environments showcased in SPEE3DCraft are examples of where SPEE3D’s technology has been used in real world settings.

Developer Information and History of SPEE3DCraft
SPEE3DCraft was first envisioned during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and COVID-19’s huge impact on manufacturing practices globally. At that time, SPEE3D had come to a realisation that there were limited avenues for people to directly experience and learn more about 3D printing and its role in modern manufacturing. There were also a limited number of 3D printing games/simulators currently out in the market, and even less that actually had engaging and authentic metal 3D printing gameplay. The goal was to develop a simulator that is both fun and challenging while also providing a quality authentic experience.
Built by an in-house team, SPEE3DCraft is an engaging tool designed for individuals who currently work or have worked in the engineering or manufacturing sector, or are interested in 3D printing in general. SPEE3DCraft was developed with Unreal Engine software.
